Replacement for biscuits/rusks to have with coffee

Counterintuitive but true. Cancer is great for weight loss. People don’t believe you can lose weight when you add cells.
TB is a "good" appetite suppressant I believe. Neither for me please.

The most diet friendly will be a cigarette. Goes great with coffee, zero calories, and will eventually replace entire meals or snacks so does wonders for weight loss.
nothing like a coffee and a rokie on the stoep in the morning.. at like 4:30

there is only one rusk: buttermilk rusks made with real butter, real buttermilk and real sugar

all other "rusks" are a waste of time, rather go without, period

Sometimes I find it's better to replace bulk sadness with something small and really satisfying. That you can eat mindfully (slow and with attention) and enjoy. Afterwards think to yourself: That was a bit of alright. And variety. Small quality and tasty biscotti/shortbread and a piece of dark chocolate with your coffee maybe. You'll get a bit of satisfying crunch and the carb joy, and then the dark chocolate will boost your metabolism. And you get sugar free dark chocolate that's not bad at all.

Mindful eating is a big deal, but it doesn't work so well when what you're eating is less enjoyable in the moment. It's a healthy mental break in any case.

I've always heard of ship's biscuit or hardtack in books, but never knew exactly what it was. But recently I saw a video about it and finally connected it to rusks.

So basically the process is the same, you just keep baking them like e.g. 4 times to make it more dense and drier so that it could last longer on voyages without spoiling.
