Replacement for Nokia E90

Which cellphone will officily replace the Nokia E90? Some say N900 some say Nokia N97...

And when is it coming to SA?

I have friend who has been using Communicators since the 9210i. Recently he moved from the E90 to the N97 and he is pretty happy with it.

I'd suggest the N97.

No, I think there will be an E-series device to replace it. ... someday.

But Nokia takes very long with their communicators. Just look at the amount of time it took since the 9500 came out before we had the E90. Sure, it was a jump from Series 80 to Series 60 but still, the Communicators take a long time to evolve.

AFAIK, Nokia wont be launching a "communicator" series in the future. Thus the most likely contender as the successor would be the N900, as its being billed as a mini computer, whereas the N97 is more structured around multimedia, and internet based social networking.

i was at Nokia store, Vodaworld this morning. they said N900 will be in SA next year. its just a delay
