Replacing a Telkom phone with 4G Volte fixed wireless

My mum inlaws Telkom phone packed up and my wife replaced with a 4G Volte fixed wireless set. Despite following the set up instructions, the new device is not reading the Telkom Sim.

Can anyone share some advice please? We really need to have a phone for my mum in law.

Go to you're nearest Telkom and ask to do a sim swop on the affected number. Just note, depending on where you go the agent might not help you and only the account holder since they have to biometrics with the account holder for the sim swop.
