Hi guys,

Does anyone know where in the Durban region I could get a new "t" key for my LG laptop? It hopped off the other day and now seems to be damaged as it keeps doing so and the one "clip" on the one side seems to have broken off and the "catch" underneath seems to be worn.

I have seem online that you can purchase a new key, catch and "rubber stopper" online but would be too expensive to ship. Any ideas locally?

I'm sure the suggestion of speaking to LG would come up but who is the agent for LG laptops in SA?

How did you manage to type the "t" without the "t"key?

The key merely presses down on a little stopper which actually types the letter. As explained the stopper is still there.... and the key will fit in place but pop off on occasion. Irrelevant really as I could well have been typing from a different computer.

Yip and besides the good service, the pricing is not too bad either...Well @ their Johannesburg branch in any case...

There is an easier way....
Get a Nokia N8 and wave it above the keyboard slightly. It is magical and will repair the keys without you having to do anything else.
If however it doesnt repair the keys then throw the laptop away and use the N8, it does everything the laptop does anyway!!
