Replacing Logitech Wireless Keyboard and mouse (mk220) USB dongle

So someone at work helped themselves to my logitech wireless USB receiver.

Can it be replaced or is there some alternative I can use that will be compatible?

I had to buy a new Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse when I broke my dongle. As far as I know, they are paired to one another and cannot be interchanged.

I mailed Logitech when mine stopped working (unifying receiver). They mailed me one free of charge, I didn't even pay for shipping. Maybe I got lucky...

The PC is on the other side of the room so there is no real intermediate fix.

Do what Nuro suggested, I've contacted Logitech when I lost my dongle & they sent me a new one just like that.
