Replacing Magic DVD Ripper

Hi Guys,

Ok Case goes like this i have an already ripped dvd saved on my pc but now i want to convert it to a smaller single file avi i was using Magic DVD ripper and that was perfect but now i can no longer use it as the trial is up and its super protected now what other programs can i use i have tried fairuse i have tried winavi and many more they all rubbish IMHO. Any help would be appreciated

If you find winavi and fairuse rubbish then i would say you are screwed.

FairUse Wizard, AutoGK or Handbrake. The latter two are free and work quite well.

Ok that looks like an awsome program but heres where im stuck that can only take one file at a time i have ripped it and there are lots of files like its_03.vob cant i put them into one avi with magic dvd ripper i just clicked on the path and then it saved all in thta folder to one avi

Decent ripper should pick up the IFO files and give you the titles sets. Handbrake does that and so does AutoGK. Just load the .IFO file for the title set you want to convert in AutoGK.

If you want to join VOBs there are several apps out there to do it. I sometimes use VOB2MPG to make mp2 out of it and then convert from there.

You could also try Xilisoft DVD to DivX Converter, but it isn't free.
