Replacing PSU cooling fan

i replaced my psu fan not to long ago..
that guide looks sufficient!
good luck!
(becareful what you touch) :p

I did this twice before, first incident my psu fan was making too much noise so replaced the fan with a more silent one, the second time i just put a cool blue fan inside. Didnt get electrocuted or anything like that

ya one of my blades of my orgininal fan broke.. so my pc was vibrating ****ing badly..
so i replaced it with an awesome aerocool blue led fan!

Its really simple, just use common sense, unplug psu, open, unscrew fan, un plug it, plug new fan, screw it, close psu, put it on. Follow that and you wont get shocked :)

My PSU cooling fan is knackered, and I'm thinking about replacing it. Can I use a standard cooling fan, or does it have to be one specifically designed for a PSU?
Anyone electrocuted themselves trying to do this?

Make sure you disconnect the mains.

As PokerKing said be careful what you touch. The larger capacitors on a switch mode power supply unit can pack a nasty punch. Not lethal unless you got a pacemaker I suspect.

Anyone heard from hyperian yet??!!!
Or is it now Mr Crispie?
