Hi

So my eject button on the factory fitted audio system is buggered (eject button is totally missing). Is there any way that I could just replace the button without having to replace the whole unit?

Thanks in advance!

What model radio? picture please?

I have a VW RCD300 radio from a 2006 Jetta 5 in perfect condition which you can have for free (only pay shipping) if it will help.

The same thing happened to a friend of mind and she uses a small key to eject her CD's - i think it's a common problem. Where do you stay? Look around for an Audi/VW breakers yard and see if they can help you maybe?

the other thing I thought about is trying to fashion a new button, but it might be risky. I think you could take a small piece of plastic and put the tiniest amount of superglue on it and try stick it to the button in the head unit, or try to use prestik as it might be safer....

To be honest this is what I though when I read eject button....

You're talking about a scrap yard? I don't even know why these exist, they are a waste of space. THrough all the years of me owning cars, no single scrap yard could help me with anything more than a floor carpet.
