No comment on #1 or #2 but The Kindle 3G comes with an integrated SIM card - you can't replace the SIM but it does allow you to download books in 100 countries over the 3G connection. Browsing also works however it is limited and please note that a Kindle is totally different to an IPAD - it's essentially an e-Paper device - so the screen literally looks like paper (Most people are quite amazed when they see what it looks like) and the refresh rate is slow but good enough to read a book etc.

Also you can buy the Kindle 3G+Wifi on Amazon.com and it's shipped very cheaply via DHL - I ordered my gf the wifi version - Ordered on Monday and arrived on Thursday. They build in the customs costs etc so no paperwork or clearance fees - Also one bit of advice - If you do buy a kindle then buy the accessories at the same time so they are included and the shipping is slightly increased.

i know about the kindle . I'm talking about cell c being one of the networks that support the 3G part of it. I like reading and need a replacement e-reader. G

BlackBerry Torch and iphone comes down to "exclusive rights" the torch will probably be offered 6months down the line or more *don't quote me on this" just saying "EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS"......

Why would you need Cell C to support the Kindle? It's a roaming sim card which is embedded in the device - you aren't charged per GB to download the e-books from Amazon - it's included in the price.
