Hi all,

Quick question, my motherboard has 2 Ethernet ports. i want to use one as a primary port (Where all my normal traffic will run through, including my vpn), and then i want only a single app (for an internal wisp network) to run through (Unfortunately if this traffic runs through the vpn then i wont be allowed access to the network as its a closed network. Is this possible to do? Is there any software i can use?

Do you perhaps know the IP or IP range that you need to connect to?

Then Ill add a static route.

What OS are you running?

using windows 7,

Yes im using DC++ so it allows you to set the ip for the software in it, so how would i be able to limit only this ip on the lan port? Will this also affect incoming connections to DC++ as well or not?

Hi

I have a similar setup but don't have VPN a running.

I have a gateway address on my primary NIC. Secondary has no gateway setup.

In Apex DC++ there is a setting that allows you to choose the connection. I think it lists the IP address.

I have mine set like this and it works fine.

so i signed up with no-ip.com. I registered my ddns and set it up and forwarded ports. once i tested ports it did not work. Is it possible it could be blocked by my wisp?

edit: sorry this was relating to setting up a ddns and accessing internal network from outside the network itself.

Means DDNS is going through the primary nic and registering the incorrect public IP address. You need to create static routes to ddns through you second nic

Some wisp's have one Internet conection and share it with its clients .
Efectively blocking incoming connections . Try a trace root to a address and post results
