Good day
I have a windows 8 computer that my friend has forgotten the password.
I have Googled around and found a few programs.
None of them seem to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions .
Thanks
Johnathan

Google for kon-boot USB.

Boot off it, it bypasses Windows's security features. So you can log straight in, change the password and reboot the PC.

I have used it multiple times successfully. I also carry a bootable USB with this program with me.

It gives me access to any local user account on a computer, provided I can boot off my USB drive.

I have only once come across a PC that it didn't work on...

Ntpasswd boot disk, burn to CD/USB and boot from it,follow the prompts onscreen to reset/enable/disable any passwords for the local machine

TRK (Trinity Rescue Kit) Works with Windows7 not sure if Win8's security changed, and if its supported though.

^ What he says, Hiren is the best, just create a HBCD on a flash, boot from Flash, and reset the Admin password
