Resetting bandwidth each month

ok so this is the first month that i have my adsl and was wondering if i stay on a local only connection for about a week into next month(so i can use the free bandwidth provided) will i get my international cap for september after i reset my router?

My cap got reset without resetting my router.

You won't get a week... Maybe a few hours.

it will reset itself within the first 12 hours, quite often close to midnight at the end of the month. What is more likely is that you will get more than your allotted bandwidth of international. I find that I can often get up to a Gig more of international before it switches back to local.

That would only work if your ISP works in sessions and not days.... my ISP used to work in sessions and I could go over, but moved onto "MB for each day..." and caught me in the act, three days into the month.
