President Cyril Ramaphosa has completed his consultations with the ANC’s alliance partners on the Cabinet reshuffle, after meetings with Cosatu and the SA Communist Party (SACP) this weekend.

Sources told City Press that he was expected to announce his new Cabinet very soon.

City Press understands that Ramaphosa has been engaging with the alliance partners since he hinted about the reconfiguration and realignment of government a few weeks ago.

Yeah who really gives a shyte anymore... He's going to move incompetence around that's all.

All alliance partners must be consulted as well as all the friends of the Liberation Movement, China, Cuba and Russia gave this cabinet reshuffle a big thumbs up.

Absolutely, we have to honour the comrats...

Unless his kicking out the useless and destructive same old and bringing in new and able people that are interested in saving this country, its a waste of time.

Looking at the past 30 years, and where the country is today vs what it was before, does it look like the ANC is interested in saving the country?

Who cares? All ANC MPs are useless at their jobs.

Of course the media is getting excited but no-one else is because the general public have largely given up on politicians.

Well I'll most definitely not mind seeing Sisulu and NDZ out. Sure they'll still be wielding way too much power over our government from Lethuli House and still be part of the cabal, but as ministers they definitely get way too much of a platform.

Will the reshuffle be better, let alone truly useful to the people of South Africa in the quest for prosperity and dignity? I wouldn't bet on it. But I take my silver linings where I can get them.

It is to give the ministers equal chance in gathering loot. Some departments are a bit more lucrative than others.
Exactly. There is 240 billion going to Eskom, it’s going to be hard for the Ministers of Inland fisheries and Stationary to loot that.
