Resident Evil 5 DLC not planned for PC

Man this sucks, and it seems to be an ongoing trend lately.Developers giving preference to Consoles over PC with their multi-platform games.

Seems like an Xbox 360 is not such a bad idea.Thought I was a die hard PC gamer but the way things are going...

Yep, even organised tournaments, lans...etc is happening on console...guys were laughing at me saying PC doesn't rank anymore as a gaming platform...and when you got 40 million players on console and 2 million on pc....it's obvious that pc won't be sustainable or hold the best players...*but i'm in a fools paradise* (for now, until the die-hards open their eyes)....anwyays, the xbox is probably one of the reasons the pc will still get games over the next 2-5 years, with teh architecture of the 360 and pc being so similar, there is little effort in the porting exercise, namely graphics limitations on console and controls....

If you look at the console exclusives, the only game on pc that i would have missed is World in Conflict....but on PS3 alone in the last year...Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Infamous, Motorstorm and now, God of War 3, MAG, Heavy Rain....love my pc...still game on it, but 99% of my gaming time is on console...

It is sad. I've been holding out for the PC version of Assassin's creed 2 and with these DLC bits being released for it I'm wondering whether we'll get access to it on the PC version too (probably not by the looks of it). Ah well with the price of PC games shooting up (anyone seen what the price is of Starcraft 2 is on Kalahari! I hope it comes down...especially since it's only part 1 of 3).

As for Resi 5 I loved being able to co-op with my bro (he has an xbox and I have a PS3...but we both have PC's!)...tis a shame about no DLC for PC now though.

It is true that developers are focusing on consoles more these days, but being an Avid MMORPG player (Eve,Aion,Warhammer,WoW) there is still no substitute for these kind of games that exist on consoles.
This may change though.
I've always had 2 main gripes with consoles number 1 being that u could never use a Keyboard and Mouse to play MMORPG and FPS games(Mouse and keyboard is far superior to Gamepad in FPS, no matter what anyone says) but this will soon change too, actually mice and keyboards already exist for consoles and number 2 being the ridiculous prices of console games.

I actually don't mind making the jump to consoles,it will be kinder on my wallet with regards to graphics cards and hardware upgrades and copying games for the Xbox 360 is also not such a chore anymore, but for the moment I will firmly stay an Avid PC GAMER, until the day comes that my next favourite MMORPG is console only, which in all honesty is a very, very long time away or it is safe to say may never happen at all, with MMORPGs being firmly settled on the PC platform.

So that leaves me with the burden of having to own a console and a PC, with that being the only possible outcome, the unfortunate truth is that I will only ever play copied games on the Xbox 360 where you download the Image through torrents.There is no way in hell I would be able to afford keeping the PC upgraded at a suitable level to play games AND afford the silly prices of console games.
