I watched one of the Rez Evil 5 promo vids available on XBL yesterday... OMFG!!! This games looks SWEAT!! I have cold shivers through the whole video! I can't wait for this title to come out.. anyone else watched the vids?

This game looks like it's gonna be something else, Capcom have shifted the series from Survival Horror to more action orientated which is pretty cool, they actually researching fabric and clothing to give it a sense of realism
They said it's gonna be scarier than 4 which wasn't really scary at all.
I really wanna get a gamecube just to get all the titles from 0 til 4.
I've got code veronica X as well as 4 on PS2 lost my PSone copies of 1,2 and 3
Resident Evil 5 Definitely gonna be a good game (unlike Silent hill: Homecoming), day one purchase for me

Mmmmm.. I tried playing the Rez Evils on Gamecube that came prior to part 4.. I couldn't get into them. The control system was impossible. moving forward or back while uncomfortably rotating your character either clock wise or anti... plus pre-rendered environments....IMO the control system in the newer versions is what allows the game to be good. Rez evil 4 is one of the best games I have ever played... I expect that rez evil 5 will be as well!
Hahahaha, dude that's what made Resident Evil, pre-rendered backdrops, fixed camera angles and crappy controls and low ammo count. Just added to the "horror" hahaha, Res Evil 4 has the most ammo in it than any other Resi Evil before it.
Yes the new system is good but the old one with its flaws were just amazing to me plus I horde the games I love

Like MGS4, RE5 is a must have from day1. Saw the vids. Can't wait. But i hope gameplay is as long as RE4.

Dunno about Ashley but in the vid I noticed those dudes with the chainsaws are back.. GEES those guys freaked me out.. plus it looks like there is a new guy with a big hammer of death that follows you around and tries to kill you every now and again... Looks like a butcher maybe with a giant meat tenderizer that's trying to tenderize you to death!!

Dr. Salvador a.k.a Man with bag on his head as well as the Bella sisters.
When I hear those chainsaws motor starting my heart beat races cause we know it's instant kill, I normally turn round frantically looking for the bastard and beware if you haven't got shotgun or magnum ammo.
The new guy has a bag with barbedwire wrapped over his head and looks even more vicious. I can't wait for this game, think I'll start a new Resi Evil 4 game just to sate the hunger for now, hahahahaha.

LOL!! I know exacry what you mean! The Rez Evil 5 vid I watched had the same chainsaw sound in it.. when i heard that sh_t I was overcome with an all too familiar feeling of certain and imminent doom!!!
I can only hope that in 5 they create teh same atmosphere!

There was a dude like that in RE2 as well, after you play the second round. Can't remember his name though. Was T something. You couldn't kill that dude for some time.
