I'd also be pissed off as a matter of fact...Most of the neighbourhood already had legacy poles from copper days... he's in part of the newer development, that didn't have any telkom infrastructure prior.
From what I understand, his housekeeper or gardener let them in while he was at work... then when he arrived back, he saw this giant pole in his yard and he didn't let them in again to complete the work.
Why would Telkom run lines at the back of properties instead of street side?
Ok thanks, I assumed the house having a sea view wouldn't have any other residence below them.That way they can reach more houses with fewer poles.
