I think it's a clever political move.

He was appointed by Mbeki. Mbeki resigned. He follows. New pres needs to consider who to appoint. Trevor negotiates with new pres and gets to keep on doing what he does and more importantly the way he does.

I don't think he is in cahoots with the mods. I really don't think so.
The problem is they take so long to respond to deleting his posts, it's just not worth stressing about. I am plying a different strategy now with dear old Charl, we'll have to see if it works out.
