Resigning from work - advice

have you ever worked in IT SUPPORT... ? every week is a non stop fight and complaining.management know the amount of sheet we go through but as long as they have someone fixing the pc or answering the phones they honestly don't care.they will now at least as i am an important asset to the team.the fact is they KNOW we have issues in here and most if not all employees are desperately unhappy here...it should not be rocket science to pick up that your employees arent happy.so yeah.... f@#$ them to be perfectly honest.i will not burn any bridges though....

That's going to happen in every IT Support job. You need to find away around it. Luckily I've only got 6 months left in IT support then I'm moving to another department.

Yeah i am going back to studying....i have saved over a few years now so i just need to get the F@#$@ away from IT support  Good luck man....at least you have growth in your company.3 years and picking up that phone...it has just become too much

They can't refuse to accept a resignation ....

Its a misleading term. Not accepting a resignation means the door is kept open for you to withdraw it before your last day. I've read up on this when I left my previous employer who I knew would never accept my resignation.

He never did yet I worked out my notice period without issue and was still able to withdraw it on my last day of work - I never did.
