Hi Guys/Girls

Please bear with me as I have close to zero network knowledge.

I've been using the internet flawlessly over my Laptop's WiFi card. (Afrihost RAIN LTE Huawei B618).

Today I had to connect the laptop to a PC via LAN cable to access a program. Internet access should still go via the WiFi (Router)

Pages load very slowly now.

Should I change DNS Settings for the Wireless network as well as for the Local Area Network?

Please help :)

EDIT: Windows 10 Ver 1709

Set the router to assign IP addresses to your computer by turning the DHCP option on.

Set the connected computers to obtain their IP addresses automatically.

Hope this helps. :)

LaraC, thanks for trying to help. Seems like my laptop is getting the IP from the Router and Router is set up as DHCP Server.

Please note the Desktop that I am connecting to via LAN is completely Offline. No internet access on that PC.

Make sure that your network cable is working and that the network adaptor isn't disabled on the PC.
