Hi all,
Am currently doing some homework on the infrastructure that we have in this country. IE Sat3 cable how it works how it has been implemented etc.
Wanting some help on this project of mine.
IE:
Require the following:
1) how the ADSL System Actually works in routing traffic from one exchange to another etc.
2) how telkom connects up to the SAT 3 cable
3) what the limitations of the DSLAMs are.
ETC. sure you get the point.
Example of 1) (if i sit in durban and i am on adsl the traffic gets routed through pe then jhb then cpt to my isp instead of durbs to cpt.)
The more we know about how things work the better we will be able to confront and educate them on how to use their own equipment
