Morning, I had the following email in my inbox this morning (this is a response to the complaint regarding the Per Gig billing system). Anyone else get one, any comments?

Dear Mr xxxxx,

Ref.: CA/G380/05

Thank you for your comments dated 3 October 2005. As you can imagine, the public outcry over Telkom's proposed changes has been overwhelming to say the least. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

Our legal department has made draft submissions on ADSL Services to the Chairperson and we are currently awaiting approval. Said submissions are aimed at resolving some of the controversies in Telkom's intended package.

Sincerely,

Consumer Protection Department

I wonder if they will make any difference at all? Experience tells me, "Not a f#$%^ing chance in hell!"

Got the same letter.

Seeing as how they went through the trouble of creating a stock letter, one wonders what number of complaints they did receive?

Yep, got my reply too. I no longer have any faith in ICASA, but I still don't think we must stop bugging them.

Well, I think its great that they replied so what if everyone didn't get a personally typed letter in a scented envelope.

They've finally written a doc and it's with their chairman, may be something positive.

Point is Daaru the draft regulations were suposed to be published in the middle of september.

you got the e-mail and didnt complain =/

with Paris Hilton we'd see some actionl. Probably Paris France, they surrendered before they even begun...

Stinky Moholi?

Why not Azheet Mapahants?
Or Fahuk Yahaal?
Or Balohup Yurras?
Or Smahaly Poupher?

They all sound the same anyway... :D

ICASA = Telkom

EX telkom workers now work at ICASA, same fvcking mentality!!

Put on hold for hours. Straight to voicemail, no response or use.

Absolutely useless. Icasa is setup by telkom to waste our time & divert our attention.
