Anyone have access to that little booklet that dealers have to determine the retail and trade-in values?

I'm looking for the retail and trade-in values for:
2010 Golf 6 GTI
(this is my current car and would like to know what the difference is between what I owe and what I'll get when trading in)
and
2010 Ford Focus ST
(Just for interest sake to see how fast the car loses value)

Both cars retailed for around R320k in 2010.

Phone your insurance or get a quote from one they will tell you the retail/replacement cost.

Not sure how accurate these values are

Golf 6 GTI Man 2010.....N = R 322,050.00.....T = R 226,000.00.....R = R 252,300.00
Golf 6 GTI Dsg 2010.....N = R 336,835.00.....T = R 243,200.00.....R = R 269,100.00

Ford Focus ST 3dr 2010.....N = R 308,630.00.....T = R 220,700.00.....R = R 242,600.00
Ford Focus ST 5dr 2010.....N = R 330,450.00.....T = R 236,700.00.....R = R 257,300.00

Thanks. Seems the two cars depreciate at about the same rate.
That actually bodes well for the Focus as I'm considering the new Focus ST and resell value was one of my major concerns as I only drive a car for about 2.5 years.

Edit: Damn. The trade-in value and my settlement value is the same at the moment. Maybe I should try and sell it via Autobay or something... Then at least I can perhaps add some value for the Xenon lights and sunroof.

do u have a manual or dsg?
colour? mileage?

Anyways I prefer the old ST to the new one...

2010 Manual Red GTI
I think I'm sitting at around 50000km at the moment... didn't travel as much these last 2 years like I used to.

The old ST was heavy on fuel whereas the new ST has great power and the fuel consumption is about the same as the GTI (8l/100km). It is a good balance. I've never been a Ford fan and this is the first car that make me took notice.
I'll check out a couple of other cars as well and take the ST for a test drive, but if all else fails, I'll wait for the next GTI early next year, but perhaps go for a DSG this time.
