Considering how similar the Core 2 Duo is to the Core 2 Extreme, spending the extra $400+ is hard for us to justify. Is an unlocked multiplier and 2.93GHz clock speed really enough to justify the extra money? For some enthusiasts, yes, but for most users, the lower-priced Core 2 Duo chips are the more feasible purchase."
