Retrieving information wiped out from a BB

Had a lot of videos and photos on a BB 9790 and my toddler was playing around on it. Please do not ask me how but she managed to wipe all data off the phone and it seems all the videos and photos are gone.

Any way for a professional to retrieve it ?

I'm assuming you had a password on the phone? Worst mistake to make on a blackberry, if the password is entered wrong numerous times the phone will format and you will not be able to recover anything.

Not quite correct. The normal limit is 10 times, and you have to type in the word "blackberry" at least once. This is not something that happens accidentally.

Isn't the word 'blackberry' to prevent you from wiping it? Accidents happen with toddlers.

You have to enter "blackberry" to wipe; that's to prevent toddlers from wiping it accidentally.

You cant determine it now, its wiped.Normally on new phones i setup all pics and vids to save to memory card and apps to the phone, but thats just me.
Install Recuva like Singhdude said and try it out.

Did you manage to come right blunomore? Unfortunately as far as I am aware there is no way to retrieve the data deleted off your device unless you willing to pay $$$$$ then it is possible to retrieve such content.

In future buy your toddler a play toy phone that way sensitive data doesn't get wiped out again.
