I'm looking for a few old PC parts, I've tried Gumtree, OLX etc, no luck so far. I'm building a P133 at the moment, I had a 4GB drive that I was going to use, but I seem to have lost it when I moved.
I just need an ISA sound card and a hard drive, anything between 2 and 8 gigs would be perfect :)

LOL +1 on the build throw some pics up when done. id like to see what a old school pc looks like again :P

Will do. Been busy with it this evening. Found an old Quantum Fireball HDD, around 4GB. Also found a Creative PCI128 sound card, although I would like an ISA one as I have other things planned for the 4 PCI slots.
My old S3 Trio also appears to be dead :( Running an old HMC ISA card at the moment. Once I have the hardware sorted, gonna load 98SE and a ton of old games.

Those are the sort of parts that people normally throw out rather than advertise for sale. You could try a wanted advert on these sites in case anyone has stuff lying around. Alternatively hospice / charity shops sometimes have really old equipment donated for resale.

I might be able to help with a 20GB HD - it is the smallest I recall having in my graveyard. Lemme look later but no promises.

I have an old 386DX at home that I need parts for to start up again. Can maybe make a decent retro gaming machine of it.

Some P2 motherboards couldn't handle greater than 4GB, I recall my dad having this problem.

I have a box full of old components. Mostly RAM and CPUs. But, they are "newer" than the components you are looking for.

I'm just looking for a PSU and screen to test all the components I have to determine which of them still work. Anyone have an old PSU and screen to give-away or lend?

Damn, if you had posted this at the end of last year I would have been able to help you out.

Had the back of my Golf literally filled to the roof with old PC's and boxes of parts - very old stuff, including a couple of ISA cards.

I will ask around as well, I know of one or two people that may have some 486's or P1's in storage collecting dust..

Jackpot!

Both of these were working when I last fired up the PC, so they should be good. The HDD is 2.1GB as far as I can recall

best is to go look there even if it dont work its a nice thing for show :D

Thanks for all the offers and suggestions guys. riscbroker, where are you based? Is that an ESS card?
Looks like I'm going to need a PCI VGA card, something that will run DN3D, Red Alert, AOE etc. Also looks like the COM ports are busted, so looking for a PS/2 header, the board has the pins for one.

This thread brings back some old memories!!
