Rica again if porting?

If i port my RICA'ed number do i have to register again for my new sim card of my new operator?
 
Yes. You have to buy a new Sim with the new operator and this has to be rica'd.
 
ok thanks guys. So rica is per SIM and not per number. Always believed it was vice versa
