Dr Richard Majoor is the head of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy at Telkom SA.
Richard completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree at the University of Natal in 1997, and then joined Telkom as a junior engineer under Telkom’s Center of Excellence program in 1998.
He then continued studying at the University of Natal for the next 4 years towards his Doctorate in 3G Communications.
In 2002 Richard relocated to Telkom’s Technology Strategy & Product Development department in Pretoria and was a design engineer in Telkom’s flagship VPN Supreme product. During that time Richard also developed Telkom’s technical product and service management strategies.
In 2007 Richard joined Telkom’s Regulatory Affairs department as a Senior Specialist of technologies and NGN networks.
