99% of these lowered cars are not using "air". The work is done by backyard mechanics, or should I say chop shops, and it renders these vehicles very unsafe.

Plenty of these idiots in PE. It's hilarious watching them see a speed bump coming up and then having to make a u-turn as they know that they will beach their POS cars on the hump.

I can just imagine the sight of a beached car. Doors wide open as passengers disperse to try and lighten the load, the anguished look on the drivers face, the quiet drip, drip of the oil from the broken sump...
 
Luckily PTA East has a lot of speed bumps (mostly to go with the mini circles), have not really seen any lowered vehicles around here...
 
That car looks so ****, most lowered cars I see are like an instant turn off.
Unless it is factory lowered like an ST or GTI.

Do you know how fing annoying speed bumps are if you drive a low car?

My car only has 113mm ground clearance, makes navigating some speed bumps fun

I doubt that it is as annoying as driving behind a low car that is going over a speed bump. They speed up to the speed bump then take a fuking age to get over it.

Yip. All the ones with cheap lowering kits, coilovers set stupidly low or cut springs. My Golf had an Eibach lowering kit installed, and I managed to go over speedbumps at the same speed that a normal car can. It's all about spending money on quality parts and having some common sense.
 
I see this alot in Dbn.

I've seen this car driving around my area a few times now already. I don't think it's air/hydraulic suspension because it ain't any higher when its on the road. I personally think it looks absolutely rubbish.
