I pay R999 to Vodacom monthly for a LTE 100 GB daytime and 100 GB nightime data package.

The past 10 daysbhave seen my work come to a complete halt, as connectivity was so poor.1000326591.jpg

Maybe because your phone is on power saver mode?

Turn that off and run the test again.

Also you should download the ookla speedtest app and not run a speedtest from your phone via a web page.

It's probably not the reason for the terrible upload speeds, but power saving is definitely on in the screen shots you shared.

Surely you must be able to get better value than that??!
Thats extortionate rates
It's R329/month from Vodacom on a 24 month contract. Even if you're not a fan of contracts, you'd be saving money after the eighth month.

I thought MTN was a rip off for R499 and 200g anytime....pay as you go..
I didn't know about that deal but that totally annihilates the OPs deal.
@CarinSSmit1 you should rather get that, MTN is also a far better network, better coverage and typically less congested in most areas.

I was on their lte contract for 1TB day and Night Owl for 2 years, never saw past 10Mbps with a pointing suburban location. Was kaka

I have some month to month thing with MTN, costs R500 and "uncapped" with FUP and very shitty internet if you go over 300gb.

Before that I had a vodacom black friday thing but the contract expired and the cost went from R500 to R900pm and they had no other comparable deals so just cancelled and moved to MTN.

I had a Vodacom sim, last time I checked the Speedtest it was 1,5mbps and it was hard to even get there yooh
