Johannesburg - Three suspected right-wing members planning to attack churches were arrested in Naboomspruit on Friday, Limpopo police said.

Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the three were arrested at a farm near Naboomspruit (Mookgopong) when the police were called to an arson scene.

"On arrival, members discovered that the farm is being used as a training centre for security guards who are then deployed to work on farms."

He said the three men previously received training on the farm, but were kicked out last week after causing problems.

Self-made weapons

They returned on Thursday night, and forcefully gained entry onto the farm.

An argument started between them and people living on the farm, and they allegedly set alight two tents.

He said that during the arrest, police confiscated several self-made weapons such as swords, bulletproof vests, helmets with spikes, batons with spikes and suspected bomb manufacturing material.

"Further investigations revealed that the suspects might be involved in a religious cult and they were planning to attack churches during service times.

"They believed that only whites were to live in South Africa, the rest must be killed.

"Leaflets believed to be occult-related were also found on the premises."

Movement not known

Mulaudzi said photographs of different churches were found on their cameras and cellphones.

They were expected to appear in the Naboomspruit Magistrate's Court on Monday.

They face charges of arson and possession of dangerous weapons.

Mulaudzi said the right wing movement was not known and investigations were launched to probe its existence.

Remember the last "Right Wing" Plot that the police uncovered?

That massive arms cache on the East Rand?

It turned out to be one rusty World War 2 Rifle.

Who exactly committed a crime, and what was the crime? - was it three rogues that caused trouble at a legit security training center, or was it the training center that is the suspect in this crime ?

The police force paid from our taxes don't protect farmers, so they're forced to provide their own security, and that's most likely what this training center is about, and if so shame on the ANC that the farmers had to resort to training their own security force.
Possession of a bullet proof jacket illegal ?

That story is full of holes, but that wont stop the trolls from jumping to conclusions - they suspect its evil whites involved, so the verdict is GUILTY in their small minds.

Fertilizer ... on a farm ... those imperial stormtroopers with their jihad tendencies!

I suspect very poor reporting and/or poor police work.

We'll soon hear the real story behind this. I suspect that someone doesn't like the idea that the farmers are training their own security forces, and trying to stir up trouble for them.

Since when is a bulletproof vest a weapon? Who is the idiot who wrote this? Of course the 3, highly sophisticated terrorist should be killed, regardles if they did commit a serious crime or not. They could have planned the killing of Zuma or even worse, Malema and then taken over the government and killed all the people (mind you,I and another 4 or so million should have been spared !) FFS, I am asking once again, who is the reporter? And does anyone here (or Tweeter), have first hand info?

Why not treason or something in that line?

Helmets with spikes.. :D shame.
