Rights on faulty workmanship

I recently redid parquet floors in my home, Nov 2011.
It cost me quite a packet in the region of R20k

The supplier has to relay the blocks which was the bulk of the cost.

I recetly noticed that blocks have started lifting the company i used is supposedly reputable. But he now says there no guarantee and I can basically go screw myself.

What rights do i have to take this up. i cant spend 20k for a sub standard workmanship

Yes the work was completed last year Novemeber, but i noticed the blocks like in the past week

i feel your pain ghostbuster. we redid our kitchen in november 2010 and the cupboards are a mess. hinges coming loose, doors don't fit properly. also supposedly a reputable contractor, also no comeback.

Small contractors will just vanish.

Waste his time...small claims court for the max amount.
