Rip CD

I just bought the new Parlotones album and trying to rip it for backup - but WMP keeps telling me it cannot access the file.

Is it possible it's protected and, if so, how would I get around it?

Can you make a full image of the disk using Nero (for example)?

Ok true. there is a way you can record it but its a mission. using adobe audition. jippo the mic to go to the audio in type thing. its too late and im too drunk to explain

Easy cd-da extractor is the way too go. 30 day free trial though. But it will work. You can rip to mp3 or whatever you like. I HATE WMA though, but i guess it can extract to that as well.

Hehe, then I'm afraid you've been doing it wrong all along. Get EAC, I'll send you the config files for FLAC and mp3 to make your life easier.
