RIP Charlie Kirk

I've lost quite a few loved ones in my life. I've moved on within a few days after all of them.

Yet silly people expect Erika Kirk to never move on with her life ever again. She should wear black and be like Queen Victoria for the rest of her life. She shouldn't wear this, she can't do that.... never seen anything like this before lol.
It's bizarre, these people think the darkest things just to affirm their agenda, even if it doesn't match how normal people might behave in the real world. I see her as just trying to have some normalcy in her life despite what has happened but these weirdos will pick everything apart to reflect their own twisted views.

Look, obviously people like to take the mick a bit and exaggerate stuff. But you can't blame people saying that it's more about money than mourning.

I mean where's the normality she supposedly wants in flogging merchandise at your hubby's funeral? That's devoid of any class.

Optics be damned.

She never did that. You guys love making up all sorts of stuff and fantasies about Erika in your heads for some bizarre reason.

I didn't make that up, I read it somewhere. If she didn't I'm very happy to withdraw the remark though.

I haven't been keeping track of everything, was it merchandise towards her husband's cause? If so it might seem unusual for a funeral but in context not worthy of all the criticism.

Ahh just responded to another comment relating to that, have I been duped? I'm usually sceptical of such claims but sometimes give the benefit of the doubt.

There seem to be conflicting stories out there. Turning Point launched a range of T Shirts shortly after his death - that much is true - so it could be argued that was cynical to an extent, but I haven't seen any evidence that merch was actually sold at his memorial.

It wasn't just the left criticising events though, old Nick Fuentes apparently also criticised the way things were handled/conducted.

All things considered I would have thought she would have taken some time out from public life as many in the public arena do when tragedy strikes. Which is perfectly understandable, who wants to be subjected to the harsh public glare and the media circus while grieving and dealing with the fall out of such a horrific situation.

I think that's why people are a bit bemused with her behaviour post Charlie's death. She's done the exact opposite to that which most people would do when faced with such a situation. Most people want less spotlight and to attract less attention, hence not be involved in media fanfare and likewise choose to dress in a way that won't get tongues wagging.

Either way she's free to live her life as she sees fit but people are also free to have an opinion on that.

Except, it's a well known coping mechanism, especially among public facing people. Jesus, gatekeeping grief is next level retarded 😂 Many others have done exactly what she is to cope and you lot know as well as anyone that because it's Kirks wife, your little brain feels it's ok to have a go at her.

Yes, public-facing people, including celebrities, politicians, and those in customer service, often carry on with their work responsibilities while grieving. This is a highly personal choice, and individuals have different coping mechanisms; some find that work provides a welcome distraction and a sense of normalcy, while others find the emotional labor of maintaining a "brave face" extremely draining

Work responsibilities??
Her appearance at a funeral or even her choice to have a public funeral is a choice not a work requirement.
And in any case I’m expressing my opinion just as you are, I've noticed this theme reoccurring where people get all worked up because someone expresses their opinion but at the same time they feel entitled to express their own daft af opinion.

I’m not having a go at her, I’m just expressing my opinion, she's never going to read this forum so calm down for fsks.
