RIP Charlie Kirk

Are you saying that only right leaning groups and governments try to criminalise hurty words?
My stance on free speech is abundantly clear, I have expressed it in great detail with you before.

What was the reason Charlie Kirk murdered?
Most likely because he didn't like certain words coming from Kirk's mouth.

Just answer the question:

Are you saying that only right leaning groups and governments try to criminalise hurty words? Just a simple 'yes' or 'no' will do.

If you have a point or an argument to make, please feel free to do so.

After Google admitted to the previous administration asking them to censor people, we obviously know that to not be true.

He did say hurty words though, not crackpot conspiracy theories in the middle of a pandemic.

But I'm not saying it was right for them to do that, either.

Why were the left reeing about Jimmy Kimmel being axed then? Do I notice a double standard here?
Not just the left. The FCC's chair's comments was the basis this time for much of the uproar. My comment though had more to do with freedom of speech and how it does or doest not apply.

Oh look no political interference from the left for businesses to operate freely...

Which side would you say is the most repressive regarding freedom of speech?

Both sides push restrictions, but in different ways. Democrats push for stricter moderation to curb harm, usually by pressing platforms to enforce their own Terms of Service more consistently. Republicans try to strong-arm platforms into protecting their own voices - the latter is imho probably worse.

Well we heard and we've also seen first hand what some American liberals did and wanted to do.

Charlie Kirk lost his life in the ultimate act of liberal censorship.
Numerous liberals then claimed online that it was all good and that he had it coming to him, in some cases his wife and children should follow.

So all in all, I'd say liberal censorship is far worse. We can see that what these teachers and kids are taught by their liberal leaning educators is violence towards people with differing views, helped by dehumanising the other, by calling them a Nazi, fascist, bigot, KKK, transphobe, etc.

We also need to remember that this is the first year the pendulum in the US has swung right. Since Obama 1, we've had cancellation, demonetisation and censorship of mostly conservative voices online. People were fired for being conservative in their views. Now the pendulum is going right and we'll see how much the right censors the left, I suspect there will be less censorship.

Ahahahahahaha what a load of naive drivel. You're as bad as Champ.

Would you consider murder as an extreme form of strong arming restrictions to freedom of speech?
