I'd just like to thank all the new people on the Kempton tower for messing things up for me, I can see now that its started to fill a little bit I gotta fight for bandwith. Dont get me wrong its still good, and great compared to some others (*cough* Bryanston *cough*) but these little kiddies have stolen a good 20KB/s off my top speed. I suggest if you're one of the hookers on MY basestation you pack your bags and move immediatly, because rest assured I will win the bandwith fight.</rant>
 
Been doing fine on the kempton BS till now. Speed went for a ball of poo at about lunch time today.
Anyone else in kempton having the same issue?

yeah, it went to crap for me too, I was actually there the second it went from 125 to 20 at about 1. For me it was slow.. then I got disconnected, then it was fast and then an hour later it slowed down. I'm waiting till like 2 am to see if this was because of too many people, or the dudes at iBurst playing around with stuff.
 
phoned and spoke to thato, he said it was a technical thing not too many users and when I asked for an ETA he said he couldn't give me an exact time but it should be resolved sometime tonight... we shall see

now i'm multithreading 2 files and managing to squeeze about 70 - 80. So I guess seeing as its 3 AM and all that some people may have gone to bed and freed up some bandwith, but non multithreaded speeds suck and so does firefox's speed.
 
I just saw my bandwith monitor hit 110KB/s, so I guess Kempton is crawling its way back
