Ripple Control Ekurhuleni

So, I've switched the geysers around and this same geyser seems to switch on and off randomly. Is it the thermostat or element? Or are we load limited to that 10A sometimes? See they are doing it to smart meter users in some places. It also only seems to be on in the early morning and coming on again at around +-5pm. I'm in the Benoni area, Gauteng.

Thanks people
This device if i google it has a real time clock that suggests it may act as a timer too and may or may not act on ripple too

It also has different Schedules
And has a battery backup could be pass its prime

ie if the battery goes the real time clock can get out of sync
And essentially resets to 00:00 when power returns and thus schedules may work at the wrong times

I would bypass the ripple and see what happens

schedules on thius page

Hi, not that I know of, but "touch wood" both are working normal now. Will monitor the situation. There was two timers that was installed by the previous owner, but I removed them when we moved into the house.
