3000 meter on telephone cable from exch, and another 18 meter, no problem.

No, my equipment is not in the ceiling, just the RJ11 cable ends in the ceiling.

So what i did is, i put my RJ11 cable in through the ceiling from 1 room, across 2 rooms down to the other room where my Router is going to be, but then when the ceiling was installed, the guys did not feed the cable all the way through (even if they did, i still am not sure if that length of cable would've made it all the way any way) which left me with a distance of about 7 or so meters for the cable to get to my ADSL Port.

Even tho your example would work as the wiring inside is connected, it was designed as a splitter and would have an open male RJ11 on the other side

Im still not finding this thing hey, i went to Telkom the other day and bought this to see if would work, i couldn't really see it properly in the packaging so i just took it, when i opened it, it looks like this i still haven't had a chance to test it yet because i cannot get into the ceiling yet till the weekend.

But i don't think that is going to work though, any idea where i can go and get that adapter that you mention?
