Shtty design at the end of the rail. It should curve down into the ground so that the car goes over it & doesn't get Shish-kebab'd.

Wowzer, now that is spectacular. I'm guessing either the driver fell asleep with his/her foot firmly planted on the accelerator, surely if the driver was conscious at the time he/she would have backed off the accelerator at the moment of impact. Things can go wrong so quickly, and if you are lucky you get to tell the tale.
