Hi guys - at least once or twice a week a local private security company closes off the road that I use to get home, by turning it into a one way. This adds at least 20minutes to my drive.
Under the assumption that they need a permit to do this, I asked the security company uniformed person if they had permission and they replied with threatening language after taking down my license plate.
Is there some way to verify that they do have permission and also somewhere to complain if they don't? This is in Fairlands, Johannesburg.

Thanks.

Pffft...tell the ADT rent-a-cop to get fukked and drive through. If they touch you or prevent you from doing so it is assault and illegal detention. Get Metro cops involved.

Ai jirre, why does stuff like this never happen to me?

They cannot prevent you from driving on a public road.
Phone the Metro police.
Tell them someone is illegally blocking a road.

Straight up ignore them.. drive through if they try to stop you or detain you in any way then open a case against the company.
