Robbers burn man's buttocks in North West attack

Attackers burnt a man's buttocks with boiling water during a robbery on his farm near Wolmaransstad on Tuesday morning, North West police said.

Four men attacked the 50-year-old on the farm Doringhoek, Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said.

Before burning him, the robbers poisoned his dog and handcuffed him. They took 20 diamonds worth R600,000, two revolvers, and a Toyota bakkie, which they abandoned on the farm Rooibult.

In another attack in the Wolmaransstad area, on the farm Klipdrift, three men attacked an 83-year-old woman and four workers around 7am on Tuesday.

They hit and kicked the woman in the face and body and forced her to accompany them in her bakkie. They released her 200m from the house. The bakkie was later recovered in Ottosdal.

No arrests had been made in either attack and the police were investigating.

More and more violence... When will government start clamping down on crime? Getting sick and tired of this

and then red october is frowned upon. This is just another violent crime, lets treat it like just another one. Let alone not the fact that it is violent, but let's not give priority to it since it is a farmer who supplies food stuff to the country.

:wtf: I would think most farmers are white and are located in isolated areas and they are seen to have loads of money and guns in a criminals view. I agree it should be a priority crime though.

And if that was the only reason why they are doing this then just take what you want and fck off! Why torture? Why kick a 80 year old woman in the face?

A robbery is not just a robbery in this country. They want to make you suffer...be it by beating you, burning your bums with hot water, raping your partner in front of you etc.

I agree that the level of violence in crime is extraordinary. Maybe some do blame white people for things but it could be for a number of reasons. Could also be the drugs and other kark they are on :confused: Idk

i remember you doing criminology or knowing a lot about it :) in crime, there is a lot of violence against women, children, animals and people that are vulnerable. there is also a tendency of the media to report on the more violent crimes as having "I was stabbed 100 times" on the front of a news paper helps it sell for shock value.

there are many incidents where crimes ARE committed and the people are just tied up or the criminals have apologised to the people they're robbing. i think the more violent crimes are committed because to want to harm someone's property, you need to hate them, whether it is because they're white, well off or just another human being that isn't you
 
Yeah I did a few modules. I remember them saying that a lot of criminals come from broken homes e.g They don't get looked after by the mother or father but older people in the family (who can't really even look after them). Loads of things I guess.

Shame ... my heart bleeds for these criminals that goes around torturing and raping people.

How often when a father kills an entire family and himself, or a when a teenager grabs a gun and shoots up a school do people ask "how could he have done this?". This doesn't make them victims when they commit a crime, but if you love someone you don't leave them unsupervised and raise them badly that allows them to get to this point.

As stated in another thread, there is a point people reach with a before and after. Before people commit a crime, they can be helped and supported in a way to lead them off a criminal path. After they commit a terrible crime, it's hard to rehabilitate some people and this is the part many people focus on.

So while it is necessary to remove criminals and monsters from society, it's better to make sure that criminals and monsters DON'T happen. Even criminals were once beautiful kids
