Robbers - Carte Blanche Story

@lancelot Well, I am a German. Some of you know me by now. Given the facts in your country, I guess is safe to assume, I should have been a 'chicken runner' too. Better that then dead ! (mind you, not everyone thinks like me)
Oh, and please, fix my spelling mistakes :D My computer is too busy to bother with that right now. Just the right job for you :D

Well surprisingly enough your spelling is perfect. And you are not even English! Perhaps you can give some of our fellow members lessons :)

Just one small thing, you could have had the courtesy of using a capital letter for my name but then again perhaps you were proving a point by not giving me the respect ;)

Surely this forum will be more useful to you now.... unless of course you need convincing that you have made the right choice.

No convincing needed here bro... Maybe once all the whities are gone will you and the rest release that you should have begged us not to leave :) I'd rather contribute to a government that WORKS, than contributing to this useless one...

Anyway, nothing you say will offend me now that I know that I will be much better off than you :)

Yip, there you go another one feeling the need to give a few more punches to the mid riff before leaving. And Brendon felt the need to ask what my problem was with those that leave.

lol.. Why does it bother you so much that everyone is leaving? Scared that your little dream country might end up like Zim? mmmm....

Did you bother reading any of the posts in this thread? I'm almost certain I answered this when Brendon asked. And as pointed out above you have gone on to prove what I said in that response.

So LancelotSA [mod edit].....we are leaving this country for a reason....I have done this once before when I left Zimbabwe..and I am glad I did...look at what the wonderful government has done in Zim, things will go the same here. Maybe if you get held at gunpoint you will change your mind....We pay tax to a corrupt government who almost all have criminal records and we get nothing back..at least in Australia the government looks after the people.....maybe you are jealous cause they won't let you into Australia......:)

I read every single post, so either you are [mod edit] Because I didn't see Brendon asking this question...

Geez, you guys are really having to resort to the insults now! ha ha

You'd think that if your choice to leave was such a great one you'd just shut up and not need to argue. The fact you feel the need to argue just proves my point that you all still need to convince yourselves on an ongoing basis.

I stopped watching carte Blanche after they had the story with the dude who had a magic quantum physics box.

lol i remember that. what trash lol.

But Carte Blanche do have some good stories. i love it when they corner government officials and u hear them lying through their teeth to protect their range rovers lol

As for crime, it is bad in this country, no doubting that. I have nothing against people who leave. Personally i'de rather deal with the possibility of earthquakes or floods than an illiterate Std 7 drop-out shooting me for my cellphone.

Damn, I really love this country but if I had the opportunity to leave to a "safer" country, I would. I've also been involved in a house robbery and really wasn't fun. It's just becoming so commonplace that people don't even make a fuss anymore. It's like "Oh, so what did you do last night?"
"Ahh, the usual, some guys with guns came in, took our stuff and threatened our lives, but got a great special on PS2 games this morning at Makro!"
The government keeps on telling us they are cracking down on crime, but it just seems to be getting worse. I hate sounding negative, and everybody tells you to stand up and not take it without a fight - but I think I've got a good few years to live, and what do you do when you have 9mm pointed in your face?

My aunt has been mugged, robbed and has had a car stolen. And no, this was not in SA, but in the UK. Crime is everywhere.

I ain't going anywhere - especially to sheep shagging territory. :p

Crikey. Well it's painfully obvious that this chap is quite happy for himself and everyone else to be lanced-a-lot in the backside by the government criminals and every other type WITH A BROAD SMILE ON THAT DIAL!

How's the view from your own white guilt-ridden rear end, ol' boy?

Lets look at the facts,

The government is run by ex terrorists,

Who employ ex criminals,

who are racist b@stido's just like the general population...

We have one of the largest budgets in africa, yet it is spent on less (schooling, infra, military etc) than botswanna....

we have the highest murder rate in africa, yes that is correct...

almost everyone in south africa are victims of some sort of crime!

yes this country is g8 lets all just stay.

Actually its a residency permit and no its not easy.
I must laugh at you guys who have no other options so you try and promote this fantasy that everything is ok or will turn out perfect.
There were so many of your type in Zim not so long ago, wonder where they all have run to?
Probably NZ and Aus.
The writing is on the wall, yes it may not collapse as everyone has been predicting for so many years but it is bad enough.
If any of you have lived overseas then you will know what true freedom is, not having to worry about your wife being raped by our police when driving home (Tonight Carte Blanche).

I agree 100% Marine..Having left South Africa wasn't easy paperwork wise, emotionally or financially. But or new life is awesome...I don't care what anyone says about greener grass not being greener...Experience going into a shop and leaving your car running, your 9 year old daughter walking 5 blocks by herself then I can never live in SA again. Those are just small examples of a new life I could only have wished for.

I love South Africa because of what it gave me...but I have a new home
