Robindale and surrounds ADSL

Hi all,

So I've just moved to Robindale and am saddened by the terrible ADSL speed in the area. Are there any other people here with the same issue? If we can get enough people together for a petition I am sure that Telkom will prioritise this area for an upgrade.

If you are interested leave a note in this thread and I will be happy to do the admin required to bring it to Telkoms attention.

I am in Ruiterhof but near the Robindale border. My adsl is also terrible. Max sync I can get is 3.6Mbps and when it rains my line sync drops to below 1Mbps.
I would join you on the petition but I am moving within a month.

AFAIK, we run off the Bromhof exchange which is far away. I tried to get moved to another exchange but was told it wasnt possible.
Hope it improves for you. I am moving to Lonehill/Fourways so I will hopefully have VDSL soon
