Hi guys

Feel like buying a new toy, and one product I've been interested in is the Roccat Kave headset. Has been rated well except for the weight and some discomfort after time. I'm prepared to at least try them out. :)

I need to know if they pose any problems for glasses/spectacle wearers though?

Appreciate if someone could comment.

Thanks!

I got my Kave headset yesterday and am still waiting to be impressed. I have asked around and seems that I have to set it up correctly and should not use COD BO as a test game.

My 2c, this isn't a headset if you want to watch movie or listen to music. It's purely for gaming.

Mine would basically be for COD BO.

Thanks Rosaudio, I will look into those.

I am now considering the Sennheiser PC 350 and Asus Xonar Xense bundle at around R2800. http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=fuwaPxZqjAhgplCB

I think they will suit me better because I want good headphones for music. I tend to prefer using loud speakers generally (although I've never had high end headphones which I know would be better for music accuracy/quality), so I would need to make sure it's easy to switch between my Logitech Z-2300 and the Sennies. I don't want to have to go to the back of my PC each time. Want to be able to feel that sub sometimes. :D Probably deserves a new thread. :)

The Roccat Kave offers great value for money as it's a great headset for under R 1k. Trust me you wont be disappointed, unless you really want to spend more money.

look there is no other like the roccat 5.1, but i do have both the roccat and the steel series seberia v2 and the steel series is the most comfortable headset imho, but of course the roccat is king with 5.1 imho.

however as noted that roccat is only perfect for gaming + voice and not for music and movies too. it's not ***, but not studio quality either for those specifically.

the seinheisers, well... no one can argue with their quality and (lol) price :D
