Ever since Rocket League went F2P servers has been moved from JHB to Amazon in CPT. Sigh now I need to accept my 22ms in game where it was like 5ms before. :cautious:

Lekker! Although I don't bother queuing in SA, can never find matches. I tried Middle East earlier for the first time, got 145ms my first game and 330ms the next, damn.

I was playing on Tuesday, we got a couple of JHB games then it suddenly switched to CPT servers. Hopefully it's not a permanent thing.

You might want to try it again. It's F2P on all platforms the numbers are there. Takes a few seconds to get a match. That is in casual though I don't do competitive at all.

I played like 20 games or so and was only getting CPT servers.

I actually captured the IP address from Windows resource manager and it was Amazon CPT servers.

Yeah I noticed that because my ping went from 15ms to 30ms the next game, and my friend from CPT who I was playing with went from 25ms to 8ms.

Because they are using AWS servers now Middle East latency has also dropped.
