Hi All,

Anybody know where I'd be able to get a Rocksmith 2014 PC bundle?
Looked at Takealot and Kalahari, but they only have the PS3 and XBox bundles available.

I played jonks ago, but have since forgotten all skills, and the the SO is also interested in learning. Don't want to fork out too much cash on a guitar (given that it might end up not being used as much), and at a relative price point of R1400 for the bundled Epiphone junior, I'm more inclined to go for a bundle, than look at something else. Suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated though!

Hey if you are serious I have unopened (sealed in plastic) copy for xbox 360 rocksmith (the first edition) with the cable. I'd be happy to sell that to you. The cable hasn't changed from the 1st game. You can then download the 2014 edition from steam.

The Game is a lot of fun. Where are you situated? I'd love to play 2 players but I've never found another person who plays.

Heres a real long shot as well, about 6 months ago I was in an electronics store in Menlyn Mall (The name escapes me but they have tons of electronics in the shop window) They had a stash of unsold Rocksmith games for sale. You might beable to get it from there for cheap.

PC bundle is R2200. Would recommend you go for it. You get the strap, picks and the game(which is kinda expensive lately) :). Second hand guitar might be just as expensive imo.

Thanks for the offer, but am looking for the PC version and specifically the 2014 edition; the 2014 edition (game) is more inclined to assist first time beginners (SO doesn't have any experience). Also, based in Cape Town, so shipping would be a hassle.

My first stop was TakeAlot, but the PC bundle is out of stock. Phoned them this morning and they won't be importing any, any time soon.
Interestingly enough, the console versions are cheaper than the PC version.

Won't advocate piracy but why not buy the Xbox version and get a distro which happens to have Rocksmith? You've already paid so... Cable works on all systems as far as I know.

I'm thinking about that now... not specifically the piracy bit; even though I'm morally comfortable downloading a game that I have otherwise bought and won't ever use (and most likely wont be able to sell either).
Have checked compatibility, and cable works on all platforms.

I bought mine 2 weeks ago from Super CD for R759 in Cradlestone mall, which included the game and the cable, I already have a guitar.
