hey rodent... all us hyperthreading chip boys have just commisioned you to fix our modem drivers for us. when we fone sentech they just say .... ok jobcard 2165 we fone you.... not!

is it possible? please...

its crazy having these latest chips and cant use them to full capability.

its called having spent the money already and cant change now....
so, next best is work with what we got hey

The word from MCCI (the driver writers) were that IPWireless isn't paying them for support on the drivers anymore. So, the chance of new drivers for the device are slim, unless IPWireless commissions them to update/fix the problem.

I still have a sneaking suspicion that the problem lies with Gigabyte mobo's, anyone else have this problem on anothe motherboard?

sneaky, I think you have a good point here as those of us with a Intel mobo do not have this problem.

Nope, it's not Gigabyte, I'm running an Intel Board, with the same **** with HT enabled

Hey guys

Maybye it's the MB chipset. I suspect it would be the Intel 865G/PE chips. Are the people with SIS, VIA, ATI or Intel 875 chips also having problems?

I used to have an old athlon 500MHz Gigabyte board with a VIA chip. It refused to detect my usb modem. I found out that the Southbridge caused the problem and I got a USB PCI card.

Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways going to

The first step is up to you : Install his linux drivers, and test them.
