Hi

Getting back into this corrupt game and just need some advice from fellow rogues

atm I got Greed (Fist MH) And Avools Sword (OH) equipped.

Now I know that fist/sword spec is not viable anymore.

So should I get Reaper of Dark Souls instead of greed. Or Keep greed and get a good dagger.

If you want to raid PvE, go mutilate daggers (Assassination build). Slow (1.8) MH with Instant Poison and fast (1.4) Offhand with Deadly poison...

With mostly lvl 213 and below gear, I was pushing 5k sustained DPS on 25man boss fights.

You can get the Librarian's Paper cutter (1.3) for about 80-200g on the AH as a suitable offhander until a lvl 213 one comes along.

Good and Bad advice in one post....guess that makes it bad advice. Really sorry, but we do need to help fellow rogues on to the right path.

1. Mutilate needs slow weapons on BOTH hands.
2. Combat needs fast weapon on Offhand

Mutilate itself though is very viable for PvE spec, but you need to go all the way down to make it worthwhile in PvE at which point it is not exactly a PvP spec anymore.

Get yourself 2x fists or 2x swords if you don't like daggers, but don't mix the weapon types, and spec into the weapon type you are going to use for combat if you stay combat.

Also maybe give a link to your armory as well as what you really want to do most, unless you have dualspec and want to do more than one thing. We could give you more advice.

Errr...?

For PvP yes, you need slow daggers ... for PvE you rely on poison procs, hence the 1.4 fast offhand.

Here are the links to the spreadsheets you will see myself and others praise so much, learn them well. If you don't like spreadsheets, you picked the wrong class.

6.a Mutilate Myths and Realities

*
*
The way mutilate should work is, slow mainhand / fast offhand. Due to poisions being changed to PPM, slower weapons become more attaractive. Faster Offhand. 1.4-1.6 is required for Focused attacks procs and Deadly Poison stacks.
*
When sporting 4/5 T8/T8.5 set bonus stacking agility is more attractive than attack power.
*
For PVP you’d want slow (1.8) daggers in both hands.

On second thought ... ignore my advice, I'm just a noob. What do I know anyway.
