So after Combat for ages, I've changed to Assasination. Can someone give me the optimal rotation, as I'm currently sucking on the dummys. Only getting around half compared to my combat spec.

Well comparing combat to mutilate , there is a bit more to watch for. Its also a very dynamic spec to play . ie. you need to prioritize your actions sometimes pool your energy to make sure you never let anything drop.
Basic rotation would be :
Garrote , Hunger for blood , 1CP S&D.
Mutilate till 4-5CP Envenom. (Resets your S&D to its full duration.)
Mutilate till 4-5CP Rupture. (If its a long fight, otherwise just envenom.)
If out of stealth ,
Mutilate till 2-3 CP Rupture.
HfB
If you gain a extra CP from the rupture , S&D , else mutliate once and S&D.
Mutilate till 4-5 CP Envenom.
Watching the timers on HfB , S&D and Rupture making sure they never fall off.
Instant poison - MH (1.8 or higher)
Deadly poison - OH (1.4 if possible) Not that big a factor since DP stacks aren't consumed by Envenom anymore.
IMO a much more interactive spec to play than combat but if im not mistaken , Combat will still out-dps assassination this patch.

Nope... rouges are nowdays mules in raids... give em loads of big bags, and they are awsome to carry pots / flasks for the real raiders... and ofc they are great for looting all the mobs !
