Are so much fun! :D

Rolled on and started doing WSG with him ^^ Had so much fun being sneaky and attacking unsuspecting victims! :D

Now I can be the giver of pain :p Used to being the one getting ganked by a rogue (as my main is a mage).

Haha, I started leveling a gnome rouge last night. Calling him Gnankle. Way I figure it.. theres so much gnome and rouge hate that it would be the perfect toon to kill horde with :D

A good mage can easily beat a good rogue, an exceptional mage will beat probably 99% rogues. But an exceptional rogue should always beat any mage regardless of the mage's skill/gear.

Funny though, an exceptional mage, with even bad gear will probably beat most rogues (excluding the exceptional ones) with really nice gear.

Just my opinion after having played a rogue for most of my wow life.

sorry but wat? :p

Ganked by a rouge. Ganked is a popular gaming term for "killed". Normally from ambush.
A rouge is a sneaky class. They employ stealth and molest little gnomes. A mage is a class, but they have bad armor and are sometimes easy prey to rogues.

My frost mage eats most rogues.

Ye, my mage is mostly PvE...I don't have a PvP spec for him so killing gnomes is not easy. Especially if they get the first shot in.

My rogue (also gnome :D ) will be purely PvP.

Ganked by a rouge.

I know what ganked is; just questioning the probability. Also rouge? attacked by mascara i guess :p

Rogues blowing cd's might have a chance of winning not taking into consideration gear/skill/mage cd's.

A rogue will prawn any clothie if the latency is 40ms or less.
Once it goes over 40ms, the chances of the clothie escaping increases and therefore the chances of the poor rogue being pooned increases.

Latency really makes life difficult for a melee class.

EDIT: For example, in my subtilety spec, with no latency errors, I can keep anything pinned down for 16 seconds, plenty of time to completely kill a clothie.
But, in-between stuns, they get out of my grip (this is after I made dead sure that their trinkets were on CD with the help of a friend rogue and a sweet sap).

That doesn't take much skill...

I used to love dueling, though not healing classes in healing spec, but mages with all cooldowns ready, rogue also with all cooldowns ready, is by far the most entertaining match if both are equally exceptional skill level. Its not so much about stuns is it is about jumping around all over the place whilst still eating at the other player's health. In fact, you can stun but with blink and trinket they will get away at least 2 times, but usually more than not.

I'm not a big PvP'er so being able to kill lots of people and end up on top of the scoreboard with a class I've never played before was quite awesome ^^

But Method you are damn right, they are loads of fun. Specially while leveling since Ambush and such is way overpowered. When you hit 80 things change a bit thou :(

Sub is by far the most fun for leveling, even killing mobs is fun and damn fast, but for BG's ow my, its awesome!

You make my eyes bleed. :(

You make my gnome bleed :( I keel you. Voicy is one of those freeken exceptional rogues that are rouge.

You should be happy, Im leveling a rogue for easy mode PvP like you :D

Im a previous S4 Gladiator and just came from a 3rs place finish in Wrathful seaon.

All i can say is that a rogue will faceplam a rogue any day of the week UNLESS their is a HUGE gear difference/Latency is bad.

Fighting mages is pure skill and timing eg: Gouging their blinks, KS a blink, after a blink rush the other way to re stealth, so many little tricks.

however once a rogue has used cos/trink/prep and both vanishes IF your caught in a slow effect you will be kited till death NO rogue in the world can come back from that if both are equally geared and experienced.

But ive played rogues since vanilla (wow begining) and they are truly awesome

True, one shouldn't use up prep/lolcloak/trinket and then get slowed, the idea is to kill the mage before using every cooldown.

Now that I play a warrior, I feel most mages are a joke, as long as I don't use bladestorm before blink, its a free win. If its on cooldown and the mage blink, I am going to have a fun time but probably lose. Same goes with a rogue. You have to use enough cooldowns, but also leave some of the most important ones until the mage blink at which time you can take it a bit more aggressive.

What I found is, most mages are easy, but these fire mages, some of them have a buff, that on melee hit a stun can proc on the target, that is really really irritating as a dagger rogue who hit really fast and a lot. Those mages more than not get me mostly out of surprise and the fact that I don't play my rogue enough anymore to figure out what I should do, though more than not I can win them too since they have that stun that can proc, but less slows than frost mages.

Warriors should rape mages unless you dont use your spell refelct correctly and other cds... also since you have second wind and most of mages spells freeze you inplace (Stun) you also regain hp.

But its all about rock , paper, scissors ... also skill levels make a huge diff.

I mean as a rogue i would say my worste class to fight would be Holy pala First actaully healers in general as a pain ... and out of all dps classes (casters included) .. id give first place to BM hunters and then Mages closesly second...

But as a person who knows the game and every class back to front (which is the key to pvp) i generally have a easy time vs less skilled people.

O and warriros are like a free kill .... Envenom crits 6-9k . also since we were able to disarm you in BS its like WOOT!:)
