So I've finally gotten my Roku up and running with my home setup and I'm totally loving it!

I just have one problem. When I set the Roku to 1080p (i.e. Select that I have a 1080p TV) the picture quality deteriorates quite dramatically. I have blue horizontal lines flashing across the screen every few second. Quality returns to normal when I go back to 720p but then I'm assuming that it is down sampling.

Anyone else having these issues?
Anyone been able to solve it?

I don't have that issue. Are you going through a receiver or is it connected straight to the TV? Also what TV is it?

Don't have that problem on mine - try checking if your HDMI cable to faulty/try a different one. I have seen cables work on lower resolutions but struggle with artifacts on higher ones.

Directly connected via HDMI. I'll replace the HDMI cable quickly and check if that's the problem.

Just replaced the cable with my PS3's Sony cable and it's working perfectly.
Thanks to both of you for the suggestion!
